Wisconsin's U.S. senators unfazed by immigration's impact on jobless Americans

We think this 844-page bill worthy of public discussion, especially in light of the fact that 22 million Americans are unable to find full-time work. But Washington, D.C., staffers forSens. Ron Johnson (R) and Tammy Baldwin (D) told me today that neither "lawmaker" plans to hold town hall meetings or something similar to address what would be the eighth amnesty since 1986. Aren't we supposed to be a "government of the people?"

Incidentally, both Johnson and Baldwin apparently don't think the immigration issue is worthy to be listed as issues on their homepages.

Speaking on their behalf as a constituent, good luck to those Wisconsinites currently conducting job searches.
