Hillary hires former illegal alien as 'Latino Outreach Director'

Washington Post syndicated columnist has asked whether presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is sincere in picking activist Lorella Praeli,  the former head of United We Dream, to put herself in good graces with Latinos.

That any politician can be capable of being sincere about anything should come as no surprise to anyone, but I felt that my two cents worth was as valuable as the next guy's and told the columnist that Clinton's sincerity is at least equal to that of the Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, the Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP and other black "leaders" who claim to be protecting the interests of those in our society who are hurt most by high levels of immigration, especially the illegal kind.

The columnist agreed that Hillary is cut from the same cloth as other types of political "grandstanders."

Clinton could have just as easily selected a Latino who was born here or who entered the country playing by the rules and questions an immigration policy that continues to hurt the very people it was designed to protect.

Instead, Clinton opted for Praeli's "shock value" i.e. someone who benefited from President Obama's 2012 "temporary" amnesty that gives work permits to children brought here illegally by their parents and shields them from deportation.

Why emphasize the latter rather than the former?  The answer is simple:  Clinton is part of  our two-party political system that perfectly reflects Obama's "fundamentally transformed " America in which it is now considered expedient to sing the praises of those who thumb their noses at the rule of law, national sovereignty and then arrogantly proclaim that the American people "owe" them respect and dignity.
