an act of bending the knee or touching it to the ground in reverence or worship.
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn) has publicly revealed what has been strongly suspected for some time: House Republicans have no plans to challenge Emperor Obama's lawless executiveamnesty for more than 4 million illegal aliens that includes work permits, Social Security numbers and photo IDs.
In a Nov. 22 interview with Brietbart News, Ms. Bachmann said she was "floored" during the GOP's weekly conference.
"We all knew that the big issue for the week was going to be the president announcing his amnesty,” she explained. According to Breitbart, Bachmann recounted that all of the leadership went to the microphone, including House Speaker John Boehner.
“They acted as though the amnesty issue wasn’t even an issue," she said. "They said that the President is going to do what he’s going to do, and we are not going to get down in the mud with him. We are not going to engage, and what we are going to do is to talk about our positive solutions on jobs, the economy, education, and manufacturing,” adding that each congressman who spoke reiterated that not engaging Obama and staying positive was a “brilliant strategy.”
And a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, especially you folks who are among the 18 million Americans who can't find full-time work while 7 million illegals are drawing regular paychecks in the construction, manufacturing, transportation and service industries.
