Flag-waving Chicago Tribune editorial board again shows it preference for illegal aliens over American workers

In response to Tribune columnist John Kass’ recent columns condemning the Cook County Board’s immigration policy that played a role in the death of a Chicago resident, the newspaper says the city’s “sanctuary policy” for illegal aliens “goes to far.”

Talk about an understatement.  Sanctuary cities are illegal and have been since 1996.

Parroting President Obama's decree that some illegals are more illegal than others, the Tribune says only hard-core criminals should be turned over to immigration officers while allowing "otherwise law-abiding" illegals to sleep soundly in their beds and keep their jobs even though unemployment in the "City of Big Shoulders" stands at 9.8 percent.

The paper's pandering to the nation's fastest growing minority group comes as no surprise; it's been going on for years.  What's so annoying, however, is that the Tribune shows no shame for disregarding the values and principles represented by the American flag that appears on its front page every day.
