Dave Gorak: Democrats don't want to end illegal immigration

Anybody who has been following our federally-created immigration crisis for any length of time knows that Democrats years ago went over to the Dark Side from their previously held position as the champion of American workers.

Why the party's top priority changed can be seen in our decades-long immigration tsunami that has made the immigrant vote a holy grail that promises long-term power and influence over our daily lives.  This is because most immigrants come from countries with socialist governments that handhold their citizens from cradle to grave.  In other words, many immigrants love big government, and the bigger the better.  And nobody does big government better than the Democrats.

This means nearly all who cross our borders, be it legally or otherwise, will end up voting Democratic.

Affinity for the foreign-born at the expense of the rest of us can be found in this recently leaked memo from the left-wing Center for American Action Fund:

"The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party's future electoral success.  Donald Trump and the Republican Party continue to jeopardize the futures of millions of Dreamers and their families and throw up roadblocks to meaningful legislative reform, and it is up to Democrats to stand up for them."

The question now before the American people is pretty simple:  Do the rule of law and American sovereignty still matter?

Should the Democrats get their wish for what would be the 8th amnesty since 1986, the answer to this question will be a resounding "no."
